In addition, we assist our clients in the litigation that may arise from these commercial contracts.
LABOR & EMPLOYMENT
At Martinez Law Firm, we firmly believe that many business owners do what they can when it comes to navigating the oft-confusing labor laws. Busy employers trying to make the business survive may, at times, inadvertently fail to comply with the law. Yet, given many of the employee-friendly state and federal laws, even the most minor violation could quickly escalate into a major and costly litigation. We, therefore, assist employers at both complying with applicable labor laws and also in defending them in employment lawsuits.
We also just as firmly believe that most workers abide the honest day’s work idiom. That is, in exchange for their hard work, employees and independent contractors simply want to be paid and treated fairly in the workplace. We, therefore, represent workers who have been denied wages, including overtime, as well as workers who have been harassed, discriminated against, or wrongfully terminated by their employers.
